The Gods envy us, because we are mortal
Though most would probably remember another quote from Achilles ("Immortality! Take it! It's yours!" because of the contest they had on Class95 awhile ago) I prefer this line from the big man.

Troy is absolutely great. Brad Pitt's character, Achilles, is an undefeatable whirlwind, cutting down enemy soldiers with each swing of his sword. His duel with Prince Hector (Eric Bana) was sibeh zai. The way his moves were choreographed, he truely had the style of a man who killed a thousand (even Battousai was not drawn so stylishly). Lightning quick and very confident of every sword stroke, Hector would stumble as he defended Achille's attacks while Achilles was steady and ready to swing again.

For me, the movie could have almost been renamed Achilles. Totally stole the whole show. Another portion of the movie that I really found interesting was when Presieus (not too sure of the spelling) the female cousin of the Trojan princes, attempted to murder Achilles in his sleep. She held a dagger to his throat but gotten so charmed by Achilles and ended up giving him her body. I am VERY fascinated by the power one can have over the opposite sex. Like in an earlier movie, Untold Scandals (Korean), Bay Yong Jun's character skillfully seduced many of the female characters, left me in deep respect of his charm and power over the ladies. Not with the intention of cheating on Adeline, I think it would be incredible to be able to make members of the opposite sex do almost anything for you. I think it is definetly time to go Borders and hopefully they still have on their shelves this book, The Art of Seduction.

Driving Test

Booboo... I failed. Struck kerb (with the front wheels) while doing crank course cos I turned too late and probably moved too fast also. The 2 circuit sessions before test, I kept turning too late and sticking kerb with the rear wheels.. I over-compensated in the test. Oh well.. get another test date. Not everybody can be among the 'elite'.

Yesh, I have almost fully utilised my Hunter game. I have reached level 99 in all 3 skills, melee, range and conviction and hence unlocked all (except one particular monster, missing 1 collectible card) special characters.

99 in melee gives the 1st boss, Carpenter. Skinny undead fella that moves fast, hits hard and takes it like a man.

99 in range gives Vincent, leader of the werewolves. Big title and body for a useless character.

99 in conviction gives a normal werewolf. Normal gives the wrong image. This guy is much better than Vincent, hits hard and takes punishment but not as fast as Carpenter.

And I am proud to report, Kasumi has accepted the Venus bikini! And Lisa has over 8mil Zack-dollars.. means I have the dough to give ALL the girls the Venus bikini! I shall work towards that goal.

No energy and concentration to play PGR2 properly. Hunter and DOA beach volleyball are brainless enuff for after-work play.

Yes I am very boliao. I have reached level 99 for range and thus unlocked Vincent in Hunter the Reckoning:Redeemer. Now I can play the game as a huge hulking werewolf with a big knife. Vincent swings the knife left when you pull the left trigger and swings it right when you pull the right trigger. Hhmm.. somehow quite a let-down considering I had to go thru so much trouble to reach level 99.

Only 10-odd levels to reach 99 in conviction to play as normal werewolf and 15+ levels in melee to play as Carpenter who I think is the 1st boss

And I am into day 8 of my mission to give Kasumi the Venus bikini, I can't wait!

I can't progress much in PGR2.. the roadster series is tough leh. Maybe I just feel less motivated haha

Before going esplanade, we were in Suntec walking around. We went Nikko, the model car shop and we each found a model car that we really really want! She found a 1:43 model of her March in the same colour, very nicely detailed and I found a 1:43 model of a 206CC with the top down in the nice light green colour! But the models are damn ex.. hers is 60 mine is 80... and each car is only about 10 cm long. The VW Beetle I bought Dawn Yin early this year is a 1:18 model (much bigger) and costs less than either car man..

Reasons to why the small models are more ex,
1. the models are painted in the special original car colours
2. the detailing is better
3. officially liscensed from the car manufacturers

Someone buy me the 206CC when I pass driving ok?? :)

Just now went out with ade and went to suntec/esplanade. The art installations in Esplanade now are very interesting. In the main hall there's this concept pre-fab single unit house, which got turned into a huge children's playground.

The really interesting stuff starts here. Then on the big staircase there was this installation called Orifice. The interesting thing were the many many hanging strings of red translucent plastic beads.. those that look like bead curtains.. something like that.

I totally blocked out the screaming kids, adults sitting around, and generally pple milling around and was fixated by all the hanging bead curtains. It looked very fantastical to me.. not the magic, wizardy fantasy but more on dramatic/erotica fantasy. It was like a great big sheet of red lace... shadows of movements flitting around, that now-you-see-it-now-you-don't sensation plus a very dramatic quality... woah *shudder*.

Then going down to the linkway to the mrt, at the glass sliding doors of B2 there was on the left hand side this picture of a guy who had just recieved a tight slap from a woman.. a damn interesting picture. All the possibilities of wat happened before, leading to the slap and all the possibilities of wat will happen next after the slap... esp since my imagination has been fired up by the display upstairs.

Finally, walking into the linkway, on the wall, the very 1st few pictures.... oohh... damn... those are some sexy pictures! Blurred outlines of women in dark misty rooms the now-you-see-it-now-you-don't effect again! Man! I have to try and get photographs!! You have got to go and see it yourself!

2nd, unlocked the Wayward in Hunter
3rd, gave the Venus swimsuit to Hitomi!

Need to complete 3 more races to go into Roadster category in PGR2, reach level 99 (49 more levels) to unlock more classes in Hunter and give Venus to Kasumi!

Playing PGR2 on Live for me is like survival match.. try to complete the race within time limit.. not to compete for placing haha.. Those pple playing online all damn pro.. and I somehow manage to get myself in extremely bad crashes and by the time i recover, the rest are all miles ahead.
