Just now went out with ade and went to suntec/esplanade. The art installations in Esplanade now are very interesting. In the main hall there's this concept pre-fab single unit house, which got turned into a huge children's playground.

The really interesting stuff starts here. Then on the big staircase there was this installation called Orifice. The interesting thing were the many many hanging strings of red translucent plastic beads.. those that look like bead curtains.. something like that.

I totally blocked out the screaming kids, adults sitting around, and generally pple milling around and was fixated by all the hanging bead curtains. It looked very fantastical to me.. not the magic, wizardy fantasy but more on dramatic/erotica fantasy. It was like a great big sheet of red lace... shadows of movements flitting around, that now-you-see-it-now-you-don't sensation plus a very dramatic quality... woah *shudder*.

Then going down to the linkway to the mrt, at the glass sliding doors of B2 there was on the left hand side this picture of a guy who had just recieved a tight slap from a woman.. a damn interesting picture. All the possibilities of wat happened before, leading to the slap and all the possibilities of wat will happen next after the slap... esp since my imagination has been fired up by the display upstairs.

Finally, walking into the linkway, on the wall, the very 1st few pictures.... oohh... damn... those are some sexy pictures! Blurred outlines of women in dark misty rooms the now-you-see-it-now-you-don't effect again! Man! I have to try and get photographs!! You have got to go and see it yourself!
