Today practiced some parallel parking and I guess yesterday in the circuit, the poles must have been slightly mispositioned.. cos I did exactly the same steps and turned the steering at almost the same times but I just couldn't get into the parallel lot.

Mr Chua bought a new car! He's my driving instructor and he bought a new Nissan Sunny ExSaloon! Great to drive a new car, comfy, quiet but also stressful.. it'll be real bad if i scratch it.. and he even brought me into the circuit today! DOUBLE the difficulty man.. new car and narrow driveways in the circuit. A little tough at the start, getting used to the new car, the fat sides and the very near curbsides, but towards the end of the session I was starting to get accustomed to driving the new car.

Tomorrow lesson again yeah.

Hey hey... went to ECP with Ade in the late afternoon.. we sat for a short time on one of the break waters then went to rent a tandem bike :) Quite fun if not for the uncomfy seats haha.. Hey dear, this afternoon was fun :)

Hello blog, it's been long, how have you been. I see that you're still the same.. reliable html code that nobody bothers to hack. Haha... I've been busy understanding assembly language and studying for a boring module test. Now finally feeling a bit free.

Exam draws near and my mood to study is currently having an inverse relation to time. but it'll shoot up exponentially (I hope) after a few more periodic cycles.

There was a ECE specialisation talk today. Think it's gonna be damn difficult to go for IA.. they say it's no longer compulsory.. why don't they just say they discourage us from going for IA, anyway if actions speak louder than words, they're already shouting it at us. Oh well... no IA = no overloading of modules.. means less stress.. err.. ok less stress at each time instance.

and can take 3 S/U modules.. maybe take some arts modules.. see if they fit and i feel interested. Philo, soci are some considerations. Then again I think choosing some modules well-known for low workload would be better...

Oh yeah.. on the mirror issue, bought this display item from Marina Sq Picket and Rail. It's not the same quality as the $189 one but it's a cheap buy. $89 is good savings and though I have to spray paint it myself, cos it's a bit stained, it'll keep me entertained for some time.

Who would have known a piece of perfectly reflective glass in a standing frame would cost so much..
I'm getting mentally prepared to buy my ultimate piece of vanity item to date. A standing mirror that costs $139 from Picket and Rail. Sure there are cheaper ones from the neighbourhood furniture shop.. but that one is too narrow to see much. And there's the $69 one in Courts but it looks like the mirror would fall out thru the frame, or rather become unstuck to the wooden border.

Went to Nova to have a look and man I found the MOST expensive one there, freaking $499!

Let's see wat's the previous ultimate vanity item.. hmm I guess that would be my new Zara jeans $79... darn.. still can't put the mirror in the right perspective...

Driving today was quite alright. Took a different route and passed by Peugeot showroom. I think my driving instructor likes peugeot too. He was staring out at the display cars... haha.. I also sneaked peeks at the cars too eventhough I was supposed to be watching the road! That stretch of road there is quite bad, it's a 2 way single lane road with cars parked on one side... too close for comfort!

Gotta remember not to turn too much at one go at junctions and things like watching a bit future ahead when approaching junctions..

Oh and there were I think 2 Porsches driving around in Kaki Bukit! Weird... why would the Porsche wanna drive around in congested kaki bukit traffic. I first saw one at a junction, going the other way as me, then not long later at another junction, there was another one! Both happen to be yellow and so I'm a little confused whether there were 2 or just 1.. should be 2.. can't possible be the guy drive so fast in kaki bukit..

MicroP project sucks.. I'm starting to get the hang of assembly language but it's still beyond me to write a program such as required of me in the project.

Gunbound temptation strikes again! I'm now a double stone axe.

How time flies, suddenly there's only about 6 weeks to exams. Wow... that's really damn fast!
