Went to Bohan's place for lunch gathering with P6 classmates! Very nice to see so many of them, 21! since it's such an incredibly long time since i last attended any of the gatherings.
Sat around and chatted and joked, then went to orchard with a few of them and ended up in Borders fianlly, reading a book "What Should I Do with My Life?" The 1st real life account was interesting. It was about this young Tibetian uni student in America who was living the normal American teenager life, trying to get laid more often and have more fun and booze generally. But aimless as it seems, he actually wants to become a professor of Tibetian literature and often dreams about how important he would be.
Suddenly he recieves a mail. From none other than the Dhalai Lama! In the letter, Dhalai Lama says that he is actually a descendent of one of five mystical warriors who have ruled over Tibet in times forgotten and he is to return immediately to Tibet and begin his education in Tibetian scriptures.
The young man is faced with a dilemma. He's always wanted to be an important person in Tibet but this is totally unimaginable! Also he is also torn between 2 emotions. How easy is it that now someone high up, the Dhalai Lama, has sent you a letter telling you your rightful destiny but yet, how can we let go of the feeling that our destiny has to be found and not handed to us on a silver platter?
